KINTSUGI (金継ぎ, "golden joinery") is a Japanese method of repairing broken porcelain or ceramics using lacquer dusted with powdered gold. Philosophically, it is about acknowledging breakage and repair as integral parts of an object’s history, rather than something to be concealed.
When applied to the Self, the philosophy of KINTSUGI invites us to transform our wounds and find beauty in what has been broken and subsequently mended. KINTSUGI is the Art of Alchemy and Resilience—an art that encourages us to embrace our imperfections with patience and love, allowing us to rediscover our true essence and what makes us unique.
